2018 starts immediately with a challenging activity.

In fact, I will be a speaker at the APPIS 2018 (Applications of Intelligent Systems) conference on behalf of CINFOR (Center for Computer Science and Forensic Innovation - Body of the Bar Association of Foggia).

It will be an opportunity to present CINFOR to those outside Italy, which, from my personal point of view, constitutes an undisputed center of excellence for the legal profession and especially for the Apulian one.

I express my personal thanks to the Board Members with whom I shared the invitation received to participate, on behalf of CINFOR, at the international conference for their full support and trust.

My participation in this conference stems from a personal invitation from the organizers to hold a tutorial on personal data protection, a topic so important and current that it has attracted the attention of the distinguished academics who invited me. Subsequently, I was also invited to present a paper.

The contribution I wrote is titled "Internet of Things, Blockchain and Intelligent Systems: the primary role of Data protection" and highlights how the subject of personal data protection assumes a primary role, especially on very technical topics such as intelligent systems and blockchain.
